Settlement over blood money, 1794
Settlement between Nizam, son of Haji Sharaf, who was convicted for the manslaughter of Ja‘far, son of Haji Ja‘far Qasim, and Ja‘far's inheritors. In the absence of any witnesses to prove it was a homicide, they have forgone qisas (retaliation in kind) and have settled for one hundred tumans as blood money. ‘Abd al-Ghafur, Ja‘far's brother, along with his mother and sister, received about two-thirds of the money. Some days later, Zaynal, the other brother, also gave his consent and received one-third of the blood money.

Settling share of inheritance, 1827
Shaykh Masih, son of Shaykh Muhammad from Kahnah, settles with Qayid Haji, son of Haji Darvish [illegible] from Kahnah, over a piece of land with its own spring called Muzhdan on behalf of himself and two of his sister's children. They receive six thousand and four hundred dinars from Qayid Haji, dated November 13, 1827. Birth certificate of Muhammad Sharif Namdar [?] Ivazi, son of Fatimah Khanum and Haji ‘Abd al-Nur; born: 1900 or 1901; he died from pneumonia on January 7, 1939 in Evaz; wife: Khanum Fatimah (b. 1909 or 1910), date of marriage: April or May 1931; children: Khayr al-Nisa’ (b. 1923 or 1924) and Muhammad (b. 1937 or 1938).
